Different types of conveyor belts will be broken when used more or less, and joint operations are required. Different types of conveyor belts use different joint methods.


       1. Mechanical joints generally refer to the use of belt buckle joints. This joint method is convenient and quick, and economical, but the joints are low in efficiency and easy to damage, which has a certain impact on the service life of the conveyor belt products. In the PVC and PVG whole core flame-retardant antistatic conveyor belt joints, the product is generally used in products with a class of 8 or less.

       2. Cold bonded joints, that is, cold joints are used for joints. This joint method is more efficient and mechanical than the mechanical joint, and should have a better joint effect, but from the practical point of view, because the process conditions are difficult to master, the quality of the adhesive has a great influence on the joint. So it is not very stable.

      3, hot vulcanized joints, practice proved to be the most ideal joint method, can guarantee a relatively high joint efficiency, but also very stable, joint life is also very long, easy to master. However, there are disadvantages such as troublesome process, high cost, and long joint operation time.

      4, the joint of the layered conveyor belt, mechanical joints, cold bonded joints, hot vulcanized joints and other joint methods can be used as needed. Generally, the cold bonded joint and the hot vulcanized joint adopt a stepped structural joint.

      5, PVC and PVG whole core flame retardant conveyor belt joints, because the structure of the whole core belt is relatively special, the joint is not easy, so most of the mechanical joint method, that is, the belt buckle joint. However, in order to ensure the joint effect, the belt of grade 8 or above is generally a hot vulcanized joint. The structure of the joint is a finger joint. The hot vulcanization joint process of PVC and PVG whole core flame retardant conveyor belt is more complicated, and the requirements for equipment are relatively high.

      6. The joint of the steel cord conveyor belt is the most complicated of all conveyor belt joint technology. Not only the process is more complicated, but also the joint size parameters are designed the most. The joint structure chosen for different grades of product is also different.
