 Firstly, Current status of domestic belt conveyor technology

There are many varieties and types of belt conveyors manufactured in China. During the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, the technical level of belt conveyors has been greatly improved through the implementation of the national “one thousand tons of fully mechanized mining equipment” project, and the key to high-power and long-distance belt conveyors in underground coal mines.  Second, the status quo of foreign belt conveyor technology

  The development of foreign belt conveyor technology is very fast, and its main performance is in two aspects: on the one hand, the belt conveyor has diversified functions and the application range is expanded, such as high-inclined belt conveyor and tubular belt conveyor. Space turning belt conveyors and other models; on the other hand, the belt conveyor itself has a huge development in technology and equipment, especially long-distance, large-capacity, high-speed belts and other large belt conveyors. As the main direction of development, its core technology is to develop and apply the dynamic analysis and monitoring technology of the belt conveyor to improve the running performance and reliability of the belt conveyor. Several typical long-distance belt conveyor conveyor lines that have been used or designed abroad. 

  1. Spain's Western Sahara belt conveyor line is the longest long-distance conveyor line in the world. The line is 100km long and was built in two and a half years. It was put into use in 1972 and will be used in the rocky plateau area. Cloth. The apatite ore from the Carat Open Mine is transported to the Al Aqin Harbour.   2. The 20km ground belt conveyor system of the Qana Mine is a conveying line that represents the development level of modern belt conveyors. The conveyor system consists of a 10.3km long flat belt conveyor and a 10.1km long straight belt conveyor. The turning belt conveyor has a radius of curvature of 9km and an arc length of 4km. The two conveyors have the same parameters except for the line parameters. The transport capacity is 2200t/h, the bandwidth is 1050mm, and the tensile strength of the conveyor belt is 3000N. The safety factor is 5. The  tensioning device is tensioned by the weight. The allowable stroke is 25m, and the drive uses three 700KW DC motors and double drum drive. The system uses advanced roller manufacturing and installation techniques, horizontal turning technology and dynamic analysis technology. 

  3. ZISCO's 15.6km horizontal turning off-road belt conveyor was put into use in 1996. It is the longest belt conveyor in the world. The conveyor transported the secondary crushed iron ore from ZISCO's New Ripple Creek mine to the nearby Zimbabwe steelworks. The conveying capacity is 500t/h for dry ore and 600t/h for wet ore. The total length of the system is 15.6km and the height of material lifting is 90m. In recent years, China has made great progress in the design and manufacture of large-scale belt conveyors.

Since the end of the 1960s, China has produced more than 200 steel cord conveyor belt conveyors, which are used in coal mines, phosphate mines, iron mines and ports. Large-scale belt conveyors with a single machine length of 7602m have been put into use. At present, a number of long-distance belt conveyor systems, including conveyor lines with a total length of l0km, are being designed or planned.
