Rubber conveyor belt is one of the types of conveyor belts commonly used in industrial production. This conveyor belt can be seen from the name as a conveyor belt made of rubber. It mainly includes cover rubber, cushion rubber, cloth layer rubber and cloth. The layer is glued to four layers.
1, cover rubber
It is subject to impact, abrasion and microbial attack, as well as various aging effects. Therefore, it is required that the cover rubber has good tensile strength (≥18 MPa) and wear resistance (wearing amount ≤20 px3/1.61 Km), and is resistant to aging and bio-erosion. In addition, it is required to have good viscosities and other process properties. The design points of the formula are as follows: the raw rubber is mainly natural rubber or a suitable amount of styrene-butadiene rubber.
2, buffer rubber
The buffer rubber between the cover rubber and the core layer can increase the adhesion between the two, and can absorb and disperse the impact force of the transport material to serve as a buffer. It is required that the rubber compound has good adhesion (adhesion of glue and cloth ≥ 3.15N/mm), large elasticity, small heat generation, good heat dissipation and good process performance.
3, rubbing glue
The main function of the rubber is to bond the core canvas layer into a whole. It is required to have good adhesion to the core material (the adhesion strength between the cloth and the cloth is not less than 4.5N/mm), fatigue resistance (the number of times the cloth layer flexes ≥ 25,000 times / full peeling), and there must be enough Processability (plasticity 0.5~0.6) and resistance to scorch.
4, raw rubber
It is based on natural rubber and uses 20 to 30 parts by mass of styrene-butadiene rubber. The rubber content is about 50%. The vulcanization system is the same as the general sulfur and accelerator system. The accelerator is generally used in combination with M and DM, or a small amount of TMTD is added to accelerate the vulcanization rate, but care should be taken to prevent the rubber from scorching. Carbon black should be selected from semi-reinforcing carbon black or other soft carbon black, and the dosage is about 10 parts by mass. The rubbing rubber mixed with styrene-butadiene rubber should appropriately increase the amount of coumarone resin and petroleum resin, otherwise the adhesion of the cloth layer will be lowered.
