1. Why is the conveyor belt joint easy to crack and break?
The strength at the conveyor belt joint is lower than that of the normal belt. Generally, when mechanically connected, the strength of the joint can only reach 40-50% of the strength of the belt. When the quality of the cold glue is better, the strength of the joint can reach 60-70%, and the strength of the hot joint can reach 80-90%. The joint method is correct and there is no quality defect). Since the strength of the joint is relatively low, if the bonding method is not correct, the strength of the joint will be lower, such as when the knife is opened, the next layer of cloth is damaged, the polishing is excessive, the length of the overlap is insufficient, the number of steps is insufficient, and the joint is glued.
