Styrene-butadiene rubber is difficult to extrude, has large expansion or shrinkage, and has a rough surface. Therefore, it is often used in combination with natural rubber and reclaimed rubber. In addition, in order to improve the extrusion performance of rubber conveyor belt products, fast-pressing carbon black and semi-reinforcing carbon can be used. Black, white carbon black, activated calcium carbonate, etc. as a filler;

The extrusion performance of butadiene rubber is close to that of natural rubber, but the expansion and shrinkage are larger than that of natural rubber, and the extrusion speed is slow. The plasticizer used in the formulation is beneficial to increase the extrusion rate, and the high structure fine particle carbon black can be used. Expansion, rate reduction;

The extrusion performance of neoprene is similar to that of natural rubber, but it is easy to scorch and has high sensitivity to extrusion temperature. Therefore, the extrusion temperature should be about 10 °C lower than that of natural rubber. The extrusion expansion ratio of neoprene is greater than that of natural rubber. Less than butyl rubber, due to the high adhesion of neoprene, lubricity plasticizers such as stearic acid and petrolatum should be used in the formulation, while the carbon black of the endless rubber conveyor belt is highly wear-resistant and fast-extracting charcoal. The increase in black is better, and the ointment will also facilitate the extrusion of neoprene;

Nitrile rubber has large intermolecular cohesive energy and large heat generation performance, so the expansion ratio is large and the extrusion performance is poor. Therefore, the raw rubber needs to be fully plasticized, and the rubber compound should be fully preheated and refining before extrusion. Increasing the extrusion temperature of the nitrile rubber can significantly increase the extrusion speed. The nitrile rubber with a high rubber content has a large extrusion expansion, and a suitable reinforcing filler such as carbon black, calcium carbonate, clay, etc. is added and lubricated. Plasticizers can improve the extrusion process performance, for example, adding 2-3 parts of stearic acid and paraffin to facilitate extrusion, but more easy to spray, the same addition of 20 parts of grease can significantly reduce deformation;

Butyl rubber has a large extrusion expansion ratio, so it is better to use high filling. The inorganic filler is preferably clay and white carbon black. Adding 5-10 parts of polyethylene can also effectively reduce the extrusion expansion ratio. Another feature is that the extrusion speed is slow, and plasticizers such as process oil, paraffin, and zinc stearate can be used to increase the extrusion rate;
